Anaheim, CA | August 22, 2017 – Intense Lighting, a Leviton company, is proud to announce that two LED lighting products were selected for the 2017 Illuminating Engineering Society (IES). The IES Progress Committee is mandated to keep in touch with developments in the art and science of lighting throughout the world, and prepare a yearly review of achievements for the IES. This program offers lighting manufacturers the opportunity to present innovative new products, research, publications and activities of the past year.
iQ Nano Smart Lighting Solution
The new iQ Nano (iQN) track luminaire was honored for introducing a 48V system with BLE control that provides individual addressability and group scene control to track lighting. Onboard intelligence offers LED performance monitoring and data analytics to report on temperature, intensity and voltage. The BLE option also features wireless dimming and beacon technology. With the elimination of the driver housing, the iQN offers a small-scale profile resulting in a beautiful, minimalist design. The 48v intelligent track system offers a unique, sleek and unobtrusive track that is utilized with the new iQN. This track system eliminates the need for traditional adapters and driver housings found on standard track systems. It utilizes a 48v remote power supply and can power multiple luminaires based on wattage.
MX featuring Dynamic Optical Control
MX downlights, track and pendants are the first family of luminaires to feature dynamic optical control. This breakthrough technology allows dynamic light shaping, all controlled from an iOS or android mobile device. Wireless optical control allows lighting designers and end users to enhance their environments by selecting spot to flood optical distributions via secure Bluetooth connection. Additional enhanced features include Bluetooth control for deep dimming and CCT selection.
