EdisonReport Names Intense Lighting’s Gravity High Lumen LED Downlight Among of the Top 10 Products of 2014 in the Second Annual LightTrades™ Awards
Intense Lighting received news that its Gravity High Lumen LED Downlight is being recognized among of the Top 10 Products of 2014 in the Second Annual LightTrades™ Awards sponsored by the EdisonReport. The publication’s editor and four anonymous judges review products that were launched in 2014 at past lighting shows and conferences. Companies were not allowed to directly submit products for consideration for this award. Judges determined what they believed to be the very best in products and technologies while at the following events: Light & Building, LIGHTFAIR, IES Street and Area Conference, IES Annual Conference, LUX Live, Boston Lights, LEDucation, and The Hong Kong Lighting Fair.
According to the editor, he and the team of judges were very impressed with Intense Lighting’s Gravity LED Downlight because it excels in performance with precision designed optics and superior glare control. It delivers up to 7,500 lumens that provide even, quality, light distribution for a variety of lighting needs in spaces with high ceilings. Additionally, the Gravity LED luminaire integrates multiple control options including 0.1 percent flicker free dimming, Dali and DMX 512 RDM. Judges also liked that Gravity’s adjustable version, which is also available with a 6” or 8” aperture.
“We are honored to be recognized as part of this prestigious group of lighting products and technologies in 2014,” says Kenny Eidsvold, company president. “The Gravity LED line is receiving great reviews from our customers as well. We have a few exciting additions to the line due by LightFair 2015.”
Some of the winners in this elite group of Top 10 include: an optical system that mimics sunlight from CoeLux, the Cree SC5, a new technology platform that redefines high power LEDs, and a surge protector by Thomas Research.
