Wendi Bertelsen, LC, LEED+GA is now Director of Sales, National Accounts, Mid-Atlantic Region. In this role, she will be working closely with the East Coast specification community and a select group of end users and national account distribution. Wendi joins Intense Lighting with a solid 20 year career in the lighting industry. She is active with the IES and serves on the IES National Committees for both the Illumination Awards and Lighting & Energy Management Committee (LEM-3-13).

Intense Lighting Expands National Accounts Executive Sales Team
Strengthening their Position and Support in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions
Anaheim, CA, January 2016 - As part of their aggressive growth strategy, Intense Lighting announces the expansion of their National Accounts executive sales team with the addition of Corey Hyland as Director of Sales National Accounts, Northeast and Wendi Bertelsen as Director of Sales National Accounts, Mid-Atlantic. “Corey and Wendi’s appointment is an important step in developing closer working relationships with our national distributors and end-users; enhancing our ability to service key accounts, provide product support, training and technical service to our valued national accounts,” said Tom Elam, VP of Sales at Intense Lighting. “Their leadership skills and industry expertise will be major assets as we position Intense for strategic continued growth and expansion in key markets.” Corey Hyland has been in the lighting industry for seven years with five of those years in national accounts. He is Lighting Certified by the NCQLP and his areas of expertise are specialty retail, restaurants, and hospitality. His new role as Director of Sales, National Accounts, Northeast Region will include calling on national account distribution, end users, and specifiers. Corey brings his extensive knowledge of growing national accounts to Intense Lighting to further their ability to better serve key accounts.
