Maple Leaf Lounge

Air Canada's Newly Renovated Maple Leaf Lounge Wins Design Award

The objective for Air Canada’s most recent Maple Leaf Lounge in Montreal is to heighten the experience of international travel by creating an invigorating, memorable sense of place and well-being. Upon arrival upstairs, a lush interior garden sets a serene and intriguing mood. A laser-cut bronze ceiling with integrated custom light fixtures form an abstract image of leaves silhouetted against the sky.

The centerpiece of the lounge is the Eramosa-clad bar and the twinkling metal mobile feature highlighted by MB multiple luminaires. Maple slat walls and bronze screens separate space and creates a series of screened living rooms of different character. Throughout the lounge, the general imperative of offering a heightened sense of quality is conveyed through the display of noble materials, the intricacy of its details, craftsmanship and comfort, as well as proudly showcasing Canadian furnishings and art.
